Video – Locking Plate NOS Vintage Military Harley

Our newest Vintage Harley Video is up. Video #5 looking at the locking plate for ELC, WLA, WLC, XA and a couple of other HD models.

This style of upper head cone lock plate part # 2759-36N was first used in 1936 on 61″ Knuckleheads. Then from 1937-45 on 61″, 74″ & 80″. In 1940-1957 on 45″ models with springer front ends. The old style part # was converted to 46550-36 in 1951. Note that some were stainless steel, some painted and some olive drab paint.
